Communities are uniting to support one another in response to the devastating wild the Los Angeles area. The fires have been far-reaching, extending beyond evacuation zones and disproportionately impacting underserved communities’ region. People have lost not only their homes but also their livelihoods. Even if their workplaces not been destroyed, they still have to contend with poor air quality. Individuals who work outdoors—in, delivery, transportation, and agriculture—are now at an greater of respiratory illness and subsequent income loss and missing work. Convoy of Hope is partnering with local churches and organizations in these communities to ensure people have what they need to recover.
